We are deeply in love with Budapest! Besides the fact that it is a very picturesque and charming city, it was our first trip together. Practically our first love!
So, now I find myself writing this article about 7 places to eat vegan in Budapest!

Leggilo in italiano!

1 Vegazzi

Paulay Ede utca, 3

Within the complex that hosts the Anker’t, one of Budapest’s most famous ruin pubs, you can enjoy pizza made at the moment and cooked in a wood oven.

2 Vega City

Muzeum Krt 23-25

A place with buffet formula (but not self service) where you can find delicious hot dishes, soups, salads, burgers and sweets. Affordable prices, very cozy location and very close to the National Museum.

3 Gelarto Rosa

Szent István tér 3

In addition to the many really original vegan tastes, in this beautiful place they have the special feature of composing your ice cream cone in rose shape! A place for real instagrammers!

4 Las Vegan’s

Kazinczy Utca 18

It is a food truck serving delicious fast food, in the full of Budapest’s nightlife, practically attached to the Szimpla.

5 Vegan Love

Bartok Bela Ut, 9

In Buda, close to the Gellert’s Spa, this place serves delicious burgers and hot dogs, probably the best we’ve ever tasted. All you have to do is try!

6 Buddha Mini Thai Wok Bar

You can find many in Budapest, but the one we tried was near the Szimpla. It’s not a totally vegan place, but if you want, you can compose your own noodle box without animal derivatives. Really the top to make a snack during the nightout!

7 Hummusbar

Un post condiviso da Gabriela Lobo (@pfdahorta) in data:

They have a wide range of typical Israeli dishes with many vegan options. Their hummus is delicious, but they don’t even joke about the pitas and their homemade mint tea.

Have you tried one of these restaurants, or do you have more to recommend?
